Hallie holds a Master of Arts in Applied English Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English, both from Humboldt State University. Her academic journey has been deeply rooted in exploring the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality within the context of English studies and the publishing industry. In addition to her academic work, Hallie has a passion for farming and manages a small organic apple orchard in Sebastopol, CA. Her experiences in both academia and agriculture inform a holistic approach to education and community engagement.
