Dr. Kijung Ryu is an assistant professor in the School of Education. She earned her Ph.D. from Fordham University. Her research interests include intervention for children with challenging behaviors and pedagogy for culturally and linguistically diverse children with disabilities. Her journey as an educator began with teaching students with disabilities at schools in South Korea and has continued in New York City at different settings, such as general education classrooms, inclusive education settings, and pull-out settings
